the following people are listed as being buried in the poor farm cemetery in 1907: Mary Riggs 1907 Poor Asylum Cemetery 53yr Lucinda Johnson 1907 Poor Asylum Cemetery 75yr W. W. Nanny 1907 Poor Asylum Cemetery 88yr
Sue, where is this poor farm located? Can it be accessed via Internet? Do you know of any in/near Washington County, IN and/or Jefferson County, IN. I am trying to find my great great great grandfather Frederick Waughtel who was released in 1836 from the poor asylum in possibly Washington or Jennings County, but most likely Washington County as he married his second wife there in 1828, and his daughter Jane married there in 1838 and and again in 1840 before going to Jackson County, IN. Thanks for any help you can give me.
