    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3h.2ADE/1482 Message Board Post: I am researching the family of William Paschal Hamblen, born New Albany, IN in 1834. His parents were Daniel Y. Hamblen and Jane Bagby. This family left Indiana and came to Texas by 1848. The same year, Daniel died. I would like to know who Daniel Y's parents were and where they came to Indiana from. Perhaps he left siblings behind in Indiana? Help appreciated.

The Church records are still in tact and the cemetery has lots of BROKER's buried in it plus baptismal records. When my son was station in Germany he went to Glane but was unble to speak much German and did not get any data. The data I have was from a family menber Cletis Broecker of Indianapolis, IN., whom is dec'd now. It came from the church in Glane. This village is not far from Hanover and I am sure the name of Broker was carried by a lot of people over there. I have not seen the names you mention in my genealogy but it does not mean they were not kin. My Broker's came to America after the 1830's and settled in Floyd Co., IN.. Most of my gg-grandfather's family moved here also and lived in Floyd County. Now they are spread out all over. I will keep an eye out for the names you posted and if I run across any of them will give you a holler. Louise
