I have seen several older yearbooks there. If they do not have them, the high school itself may possibly have historic yearbooks. The number for New Albany High School is (812) 949-4272.
Is there one available are there Durants or Ecaberts in it. Thanks. M.Lou

Hello People, Does anyone know if Cornelia Memorial Orphans Home in New Albany, Floyd Co. was an actual orphanage or a place for unwanted children? I'm researching Grace Kyees / Keys / Keyes b. abt 1884 in IN. The 1900 census lists a Grace Keys b. in 1885 as in inmate at this orphanage, however her possible family show to be living in Franklin Twp, Floyd Co. If this is the Grace that I'm looking for, wonder why she would be listed as an inmate at this orphanage. Thank you Kathy Irwin Odessa, TX USA condor@texasonline.net kathy1619@yahoo.com

Written under the photo: Alice Wilcox and Tom Adams her husband. I see a Thomas and Alice Adams living in Cuyahoga Falls in 1920 and 1930. It doesn't looks like they had any children. In 1920, Thomas's broher Jospeh is living with them. Thomas and Joseph were both born in Indiana. I see a Thomas and Jospeh Adams son of Townsend and Elizabeth Adams in Floyd Co IN in 1900. I don't know if it is the same family. Joecan
Need driving directions for Boley - Lahue Cemetery in Harrison County, Indiana. Thanks. Spc The Southern Indiana Genealogical Society meets on the first Thursday of each month at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library 180 W. Spring Street, New Albany, IN 47150
It has been brought to my attention that the chart I have for the burials in the Thomas Sinex Vault and listed as West Side and East Side may not pertain to the inside of the vault itself but to exterior burials on the East Side and the West Side of the vault itself. Is there anyone in the area who could check this for me? This would give me a comparison of names that I have always thought to be the persons on the interior of the vault. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)
