Surnames: CUMMINGS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vh.2ADI/2082 Message Board Post: My gggfather was in Branch County MI in the late 1830's, but the Branch County history says he was in Indiana for the next 15 years, before returning to Quincy Township in Branch County. I'm hoping that someone in the adjacent Indiana counties might have access to census or other records that include this family. The only other family name I know is my ggfather William Cummings, born 1829. David was a tavern keeper in MI, and came from Niagara County NY, where William was born. Thanks for any help! Earle
