Seventh St., died at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday in Goshen General Hospital where she was a patient three months. Born April 19, 1901, in Findley, Ohio, she moved to Goshen 15 years ago from Clyde, Ohio. She was married in 1920 to George Edward Hankison. He died in September 1971. Mrs. Hankison was a member of World War I Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Peg) Meggitt and Mrs. Harold (Pat) Winters, both of Goshen; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother Charles Savage, Clearwater, Fla. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Paul Koepke, pastor of Plymouth United Church of Christ of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. (Obituary from Goshen News, July 30, 1981)
