R. 15, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 7, 1998) at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born June 14, 1924 in South Haven, Mich. As Patricia SUHR, she married Virgil G. "Ike" AREAUX on Dec. 27, 1947, in South Haven. He died March 2, 1990. Surviving are a son, Daniel G. of Elkhart; a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline A. MYER of Decatur, Ill.; six grandchildren; and a brother, Steve SUHR of Kalamazoo. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Elkhart Chapel of Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Thomas A. Herbon, St. John's Lutheran Church, Nappanee, will officiate. Entombment will be in the chapel of Memories at Rice Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the american Heart Association or United Cancer Services of Elkhart County. Mrs. AREAUX was a homemaker.
