MARKS - April 19, 1897 - April 13, 1994, Union, age 96, of 55514 County Road 8, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. MARKS was born April 19, 1897, in Olive Township, Elkhart County. On Feb. 17, 1915, she married Stanley MARKS. He died Dec 12, 1979. Surviving are a daughter, Alta MILLER of Middlebury; two sons, Donald of Owossa (sic), Mich. and Glenn of Ada, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ella HOLDEMAN of Elkhart. Two daughters, Joy BLOUGH and Esther MARKS, died on Sept. 21, 1941 and Nov. 28, 1976, respectively. Two granddaughters also preceded her in death. She was a charter member of Chapel HIll Missionary Church since 1911. Services will be at 1 p.m. (Mich. time) Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday (Ind. time) in Rieth, Rohrer & Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, and after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, (Mich. time) in the church.
