HOLDEMAN - Pomona, Calif. age 86, of 2503 S. Virginia Ave., Pomona, Calif., formerly of Elkhart, died Monday (May 16, 1994) at Pomona Valley Hospital. She was born May 14, 1908, in Goshen. As Mildred C. CHRISMAN, she married the Rev. Ralph M. HOLDEMAN on Jan. 1, 1933 in Goshen. He died July 30, 1990. Surviving is a daughter, Margaret Rose HOLDEMAN, Pomona. Friends may call at Trinity United Methodist Church, Elkhart, for an hour before services, which will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Jack Pavy. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Mrs. HOLDEMAN was personnel director for the Owens-Corning Fiberglass Company in New York for several years. She was a graduate of Goshen High School and attended North Central College in Naperville, Ill. While in California, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Pomona. While in Elkhart, she was a volunteer for the Elkhart Council in Aging. Hartzler-Gutermuth Funeral Home is in! charge of arrangements.
