John Banks was the son of Aaron and Amanda (Patrick) Banks, born in Cass County, Michigan He and Florence Seely married 11 Dec 1890 in Elkhart County, Indiana, where they lived most of their lives. They had six children: Glen (1892-1945) Elliot Johnson aka Jack (1893-1924) Anna R. (1895-1990?) Aaron Edward aka Ed (1897-1983) Louis Albert (1900-1978?) Herbert (1902-1999). John was a family historian in the 1940s who kept records of the family's abolitionist activities, some of which are archived at the University of Michigan. Looking to exchange information.
