KOMINS - Elkhart, age 70, of 30371 Meadowbrook ., died at 10:12 a.m. Sunday (May 7, 1995) in Elkhart General Hospital, where he was taken after apparently suffering a heart attack. He was born April 9, 1925, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He married Miriam BROWN in July 1949 in Elkhart. She survives with two daughters, Mrs. Bart (Jan) BENNETT and Mrs. Greg (Judy) CRAFT, both of Elkhart; two sons, Joe and Jeff, both of Union; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Elaine) TROEGER of Elkhart. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, where the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Dan Engber of Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Mr. KOMINS served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and was retired from his work as a machine operator at Teledyne in Elkhart.
