What a job it must have been, as it is now, to not only keep a nation in balance, but to adhere to and respect the wishes of those who formed and set into motion the path of this great nation. I so yearn in my heart that my ancestors had written down their thoughts and reflections of their day and time and of our Nations Presidents who served in office during their lifetimes. Had they left us just a glimpse of the feelings of the times, it would have enabled us to understand them and our country in such a more personal depth. In searching for those who have gone before us and allowed us life and freedom, please don't forget those generations who are yet to come. Allow yourselves some time to personalize your family trees with your own stories and interpretatons of life's events, both good and bad, that have taken place in during your lifetime and how our nation's leaders made history as we saw it. Do you remember the day the Berlin Wall came down? I do. I remember my father, who served in WW II at Utah Beach, Normandy and who along with countless others went on to help liberate Paris and on into Germany freeing those who were left alive in German concentration camps; I remember him watching that Wall come down and seeing in him World War II finally coming to an end. Do you remember how you felt the day the Iran Hostages got off that airplane? I do. Write them down, pass them on, let not the future generations guess at who you were and what you felt during the events of our nation's history. Let them hear what is our present and their history first hand. Let them hear it from you. God Bless You All. And God help us to remember the building and sacrfices of our America and help each of us to live in honor of those who fought and died for us, those who never got a chance to live out their own lives.
