Isaac Grimes born in Ohio 1831 died 1902 in Indiana, Ellen E...do not have her maiden name..Grimes born 1844 in Ohio died ? in Indiana, Edna Grimes born 1873ish in Indiana died 1960 in Osolo, Indiana on the farm, Hazel Kirke Grimes Reynolds my great grandmother born about 1888ish in Indiana and died 1938 in Poughkeepsie, NY It was mentioned they had three sons that we have no knowledge of but would like to confirm: Grover H. Grimes, born? died? Perry A. Grimes, born 1886, died 1 April 1887. Death recorded in         cemetery index for Noble County prepred by Bev. Shank of Noble         County. age at death 7 months 8 days. Dale Grimes, born 21 January 1896, died 1958 and is buried in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier. He married Juanita Guthrie. Marriage recorded in "Marriages of Noble Co. 1900-1925, book 18 page 39. To our knowledge they lived on a farm in Osolo, Indiana. The 1870 Elkhart Corporation, Elkhart Co., Indiana shows Isaac age 39, and his wife, Ellen, age 25. Isaac is a dry goods (can't make out next work ... looks like merchant Ret.), and Ellen is a dry goods clerk. Does anyone have access to the Elkart County Court House to see if records are available that may have more information to connect the family. Also, does anyone have access to: in Index to Death Records, Elkhart Co, IN 1882-1920. Isaac Grimes died 20 March 1902 and is buried in Oak Park (Ligonier) Perry Twp., Old - Wayne Twp, Noble Co., IN.
