My mother-in-law was a McEntaffer, married a Steele. Her family came from Michigan and is probably related your people waaaay down the line.Her parents were John S. and Mary McEntaffer. I met with a lady from Massachusettes a while back who is also following this line. Right now, I'm concentrating on the line in Allen, DeKalb and Stueben Coounties in IN. Our McEntaffer in Michigan married a Gray and rumor has it the Gray line goes back to the English throne. I haven't spent much time on this line, yet but I'll get there eventually. I have information on about the last 6 generations starting with my husband. Our updated family tree is posted online with familytree.com and the McEntaffers are on there.
