Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vh.2ADI/2124.3 Message Board Post: According to a manuscript by Erwin Weaver, Peter Weaver Descendants, located in the Goshen Public Library: Peter and Susana migrated from Holmes Co., OH to Elkhart Co, arriving on Oct. 9, 1854. They made the journey on wagons and were on the road 2 weeks. They settled on a 160-acre farm about a mile south of Foraker. They had 8 sons and 4 daughters: Magdalena, Martin, Jacob, Eve, Margaret (Rebecca), David, Benjamin, Peter, Samuel, Christian, Elizabeth, and Levi (Larry). Peter died August 14, 1888 and Susana died March 7, 1893. According to cemetery transcription book (Vol II), they are buried in a small cemetery at south edge of village of Southwest, Harrison Twp., alongside daughter Lana (Magdalena) and Magdalene R. Roher, wife of Jacob Rohrer. Susana Rohrer was daughter of Jacob and Magdaline Rahrer.
