    2. Hi! I am looking for Ralph J. Moyer b. 1900-1 who was married to Edna Unknown. He was the son of Abraham H. and Sarah Culp Moyer. In the 1920, he was living in Elkhart on Jefferson Street at the age of 19 with his wife, Edna, age 21. His grandparents were George and Mary Engle(Ingle) Moyer & Solomon and Anna Holderman Culp. I have not been able to find any information on Ralph J. Moyer or his wife, Edna, in the Elkhart Co. Cemetery books. He last appears in the obituary of a sibling in 1951 and does not appear in another sibling's obituary in 1975. In 1951 he was still living in Elkhart. I would greatly appreciate finding out when Ralph and his wife, Edna, died and where they are buried. Thanks! Joe Joseph R. Murnane 4219 Jersey Rd. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Henderson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Vh.2ADI/2066 Message Board Post: My great-great-great grandfather is John Roscoe Henderson, born Feb 1856 (according to the 1900 census) in Indiana. His parents are Samuel Henderson and Susan V. Myers. He married Mary Catherine Proudfoot on 15 Jun 1881 in Jackson county, West Virginia. I have been unable thus far to find where and when he died. As far as I can tell, he died between 1910 and 1920 somewhere between Nebraska and California. On his marriage certificate, it says that he was born in Alcott county, Indiana. Alcott county does not exist. The closest sounding county to Alcott that I have found is Elkhart county. Is there anyone who would help me find out if John Roscoe Henderson was born in Elkart county? I am having problems getting access to birth records from Elkhart county. I would appreciate any help that anyone could give me. Thanks! Mary lovinlondon@hotmail.com

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Dickey, Longcor, Barker, Walling, Anderson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vh.2ADI/2062 Message Board Post: I have been looking at this message board as well as the GenWeb page for Elkhart trying to find information regarding an ancestor of mine. His name is John Dickey. John was born about 1788-1789 in Pennsylvania. He married Margaret Longcor on November 3, 1819 in Rome, Ohio. There they had four children Clarrisa (1820-1821), Martha (1823-1824), Lucretia (1826-1827), and Soloman (1827-1828). I have been able to trace my family after John but I have been unable to trace my family before John. The reason I am at the Elkhart webpage is due to the fact that in the 1850 census John was 61 years old and living in the Clinton Township. Knowing the time period people did not live a long time so I wanted to see if John died there in Indiana and if there was any mention of him or his family still in Indiana after the 1850's. I live in Texas and I am busy trying to trace other members of my family from this area as well. Any information that may be able to be provided would be much appreciated.
