Surnames: Roseberry Haskins Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vh.2ADI/2085.1 Message Board Post: Hi Carl, I've checked all of the cemetery indexes for Elkhart County and couldn't find any Roseberrys at all. I couldn't find Frank in the 1870 census, but it could be that the name is spelled some unusual way. The family is in Elkhart in the 1880 census, with Carrie's mother Lucinda Haskins, and a laborer, George Mayble. In the 1900 census, Carrie is living in Steuben County but has the last name Mayble (!), along with her father, Henry Haskins, and daughter Cora Roseberry. Carrie is apparently widowed a second time. Sorry I couldn't find a grave for you, but let me know if I can look up anything else. Geoff

I believe she is from a branch of the family that lived in Ontario, Canada and used CLIMENHAGE instead of GLIMENHAGE. She is trying to find information on the family of her great great uncle, Moses GLIMANHAGE. She has been doing research for many years and has quite a bit of information on the family in Canada but is missing information on the family from Elkhart. She does not have a computer but I would be happy to pass any information anyone has on to her.
