Occasionally, I'll see a reunion for workers from such and such a business, those seem to fit the bill too. What I had planned for my part was to make a History of Vanderburgh type site. The USGenWeb part deals with the genealogy of the county, so it seems natural to have something that deals with the historical events and people of the county. The Biographies page will be a separate entity from the historical page. Like click here for the Vanderburgh Co Biographies Project. Most of the biographies come from the second half of a History of Your County. The first half of the book is filled with all sorts of facts and lists you can place online. There are Mayors of a town, sheriffs of a county, commissioners and council members, judges, state representatives you can list with terms of office. You can list or even have photos of historic buildings or sites that are National Historic Landmarks.
