I have done some research on the Defense Council of Fulton Co which had published a book on WW1 vets that I would like to use on my bios page. It appears the Council was organized in 1916 as the war effort got started and once the war was over it was dissolved. The Council was reactivated for WW2 under a different name and today the Civil Defense is the modern version of the Council. Based on this information I would assume the book was published very near the end of WW1 which would make it pre 1922. What do you think? Safe to use or what. I've checked a bunch of sources in Fulton Co and no one know when or where the book was published and until I asked about the Historical Society was unaware of the book or the Council of Defense. ==== INDIANA_BIO Mailing List ==== Please remember this is a mailing list for the discussion of Indiana Biographies ONLY.
