Judith, On the 1860 IN census, cd#304, there is only one Crawford listed in Vanderburgh County. pg.483, Philanthropy Township, p.o.Evansville: William Crawford, age 28, b:Ireland, laborer, literate. He is listed as h/household, but no one else listed. Probably living alone/ in a rooming house. There were many of Irish origin, mostly single men, one servant girl, all have different last names. The only older woman in the entire county then was a Dorth BOLL, age 66, b: Germany-Prussia; Her husband owned a tavern / saloon. Sorry I couldn't find her. Any idea of a first name? She could be in a nearby county. Paula
