Mine were from Michigan, but later moved to Olympia and Marysville Washington. They were in Branch and Amber Twp. Michigan. Both John and James were born in Michigan, but I haven't been able to find either their birth or death records. Actually, John left for the Gold Rush in Alaska around the turn of the century and never came back. His wife waited for him til her death, because she was sure he was still alive. If you are ever in contact with your ex and he recognizes any of this, and is interested in corresponding about his family history, I'd be most interested.
