    1. [INDIANA] Re: What to do with your genealogy files?
    2. I am doing a note book or two if that is how full they will be on my dads and mothers families. In this or these will be all the research I have to that time and I will donate copies to several libraries in Henry, Jefferson and Rush Counties in Indiana. The New Castle Henry County Musium will also get a copy. There is no one that is interested in my research so the rest will be dumped as no one is interested in carring it on. What I have proved will be in the note books. What is unproved no one will take the rains and prove it so there is no use in saddleing someone with info they don't know what to do with and/or just won't. No one wants to dig, scrounge, get dirty in basements of old town libraries. My older sister did genealogy for yrs. and she has shared with me and my younger sis but she did not have any documents to go with what she had. She thought what she had was good enough so I spent summers of vacation time driving my younger sis and me around IN getting these documents on those persons. At least we knew where to go to look for the documents. They live in IN but do not take the time to drive but waits till I am there and we go together which is fine, we work well together. The thing is I did all the looking on the net, finding all the Libraries, City Offices and Cemeteries during the other months from my computer. She is in ill health just now so I don't think she will be well enough for any travel this summer as in the past she could not ride to long at one time as it bothered her. If I can't do it, there is no one that desires to so there is no sence in having boxes taking up space if the bugs are going to eat the paper. All picture will be in the notebooks also. My son has those in data base on computor and he loves pictures so he will have those. He takes family pics and puts them into slide shows w/music and gives out he is very professional at it and they look exceptional when he is done. Fireflower
