Any chance that you are descended from John Root and Maggie Wenger or James Clyde Root and, well, not sure what his second wife's name was, possibly Lieurnis....something like that on the census. My g-grandmother was his first wife, Mary Carr who died of tuberculosis shortly after my grandmother, Mildred Root was born.
