Burks, John T......55...IN..IN..IN...Farm Laborer...Public...........W..10 Emma........................52...IN..NC..NC ================= 1930 Index lists: Monroe Co.IN, VanBuren Twp. Burks, John T.....66 Emma M.......... ============= The one that really puzzled me was the 1910 census which lists him as John T. BURKS Jr?? I have a John T. BURKS Sr. b. ca1847 IN m. Sarilda Ann SKINNER b. ca1841 KY.....they are both living in Beech Creek Twp., Greene Co.IN.........John T. Sr. and Sarilda had one son who on census records is listed as Wm. BURKS b. ca1866 who I thought I had found a marriage record for in Gr. Co to Emma A. HENDRICKS 27 Dec 1883........I can not find them anywhere.......so I guess my question is what happened to Wm. and Emma........certainly they can't be the same as John T. Jr. and Emma??
