    3. Oh, thank you so much, yes, that helps. The Smith family married into the Naugle, the Wiseman and Voyles families. Yes, Sarah living with the Wiseman family was sister to my gr-grandfather, and John was his brother. I did make out on the actual census that both children are listed as 'orphan'. I know their father was dead and mother remarried and was lvg in Terre Haute in 1860. Thank you so much!
