Dear Jan, I don't know if this will help much but do know that the Rockville (Parke County) courthouse burned. My grandmother's birth cert. also unobtainable. My grandmother, mother and I born and raised in Burnett, Indiana, very near Terre Haute. Regards, Elaine.
