I started my search in KY this am and found this very good site. It is on RR's and where they start and where they go w/maps and the maps are great. Even tho it is a KY site of that state it has maps of RR's of NE, KS, IA, WI, IN and many more you will be surprised what you will find. I was in the Chigaco, Cincinatti, and Hamond that also include Indianapolis IN in the map and it is very easy to read. The man that did this site has done a great job. Would make it easy to trace a person that traveled the rails from one spot to another. This site has much to offer and much to find. Even tho the title is Grain Dealers and Shippers the rails were also used for passenget trains they just had different schedules and the RR sidings were for the slower trains to pull off so the faster less heavy and slower fraight trains could pull over and let the faster less weighty passengers trains go on without delay of a slower speed.
