My gg-grandfather, Christian Wiese, was a "well-known" undertaker in Indianapolis, IN. beginning in the 1880's, according to his obit. He passed on 16 Aug 1903. His eldest son, Frederick Wiese, my g-grandfather, was born 27 Mar 1870. I believe that Frederick's mother was Louise Becker, but I cannot prove that. I do know that Christian married Elenora (Hartman) Stiegmann on 8 Feb 1874. Frederick married Ernestine Roeder on 26 Jun 1895 in Marion Co., IN. Ernestine passed 7 Aug 1922, and Frederick (Fred), passed on 16 Jun 1923 from a freight elevator accident at G & J Tire Company in Indianapolis.
