It appears the Fremont Library now requires one to have a library card in order to access the site. This is such a disappointment as it was a great research tool to be able to access the census and I always thought libraries provided free access to the public. Fremont is not one of those. Maybe it would only take applying for a library card to be able to use their database. <A HREF="http://www.netlibrary.com/SIGNUP.ASP">netLibrary - Create An Account</A> However, I have found another site for a library that appears to be even better as it has several links to other sites as well. <A HREF="http://www.newberry.org/nl/genealogy/L3gpublications.html">The Newberry Library</A> .
