Private Corporal Union Residence: Calumet, IN Service Record: Promoted to Full Corporal Enlisted as a Private on 16 August 1862 Enlisted in Company E, 73rd Infantry Regiment Indiana on 16 August 1862. Mustered out Company E, 73rd Infantry Regiment Indiana on 01 July 1865 in Nashville, TN So from the Calumet, IN info above, I've been trying to find him in a census. He isn't. I believe him to be the son of James & Margaret Curtis who are found in the 1850 Wayne Cty IN census. Any help greatly appreciated! Bonnie/IL
