    1. [INDIANA] MEDSKER, Jones, Bowles, Nottingham, Ball, Fitzgibbon,
    2. This book has no cover, and no index, and no author. I bought it on Ebay; it just has the insides, but it is full of Indiana biographies. I am not researching this family, just thought I would share. I do not know anymore about these families or these surnames. NOTE: I don’t know if there is any additional mention of this family in the book, it has no index. I do not want to sell this book. I am typing the biographies from it. Typed by Lora Radiches: Surnames in this biography: MEDSKER, Jones, Bowles, Nottingham, Ball, Fitzgibbon, CHAUNCEY L. MEDSKER, JR. For a long period of years the name of Medsker has been held in high honor in the legal profession in Delaware County. Ball, treasurer of the Ball Brothers Company of Muncie; Chauncey L.; Margaret, wife of Paul Fitzgibbon, of Cincinnati; and Miss Elizabeth, of Muncie. Chauncey L. Medsker, Jr., was born at Muncie, May 17, 1894. He attended high school, the Indiana State Normal at Muncie, now the Ball State Teachers College, and finished his education in Indiana University. He was admitted to the bar in 1927 and then joined his father’s firm, now Medsker, McClellan & Medsker. He is a member of the Muncie Bar Association, is a Phi Delta Theta, member of the Delaware Country Club and the First Presbyterian Church. In politics he casts an independent vote. Mr. Medsker on April 25, 1917, volunteered and was one of the first Americans to get overseas, sailing in July, 1917. He landed at St. Nazaire, as a member of the First Ammunition Train, First Division. He was in active service in many of the outstanding operations along the western front during the last two years of the war. He was at Montdidier-Noyon, at Soissons, in the St. Mihiel and Argonne offensives, and was twice gassed, once at Soissons and again at Montdidier-Noyon.
