I'm needing someone to do a look up on a Indiana 1870 Soundex for me. I know so little. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I'm needing information on George B Johnson. No idea where / when he was born. All I know is that my ggrandfather Thomas Nathaniel Johnson was born August 1859 in Indiana. Thomas is George son. I got Thomas death certificate & he says that he lived in Rocky Comfort, MO for 75 years. Thomas died 1951. It doesn't list a mother, only Geroge B for his father. I've heard that his mother was Elizabeth, no proof. I checked the 1880 McDonald County, MO census for Thomas & couldn't find him. He didn't marry until 1884 & that was also in MO. I don't know where else to turn.
