I'm searching for a REDNOUR [or other various spelling] family that was in VA in the early 1800's. I'm looking for the family of Noah Henry REDNOUR b. ?1805-12? VA......family lore has his parents from the Alsace area of Germany, but I have no confirmation on this info, just family lore. Noah Henry m. Permelia Catherine HAYDEN 29 May 1845 in Paoli, Orange Co.IN. They later moved to Monroe Co.IN, then finally settled in Owen Co.IN near Freedom and remained there to raise their family of 6 children. I have not been able to find his parents located in Orange Co., so I don't know if he came there by himself or with them? I do know that he was a chairmaker by trade, possibly something that his father did also? If you have any info on this family, I would like to share family info with you.
