Then I started to get all these bizarre pop up ads on a gray microsoft screen. That I guess was because in an attempt to deter "spyware" I downloaded Ad-avert instead of the real Adware. So I dumped that. I order to get Picture It up and running again, had to delete the program and reinstall. Still the "screen" portion file is missing. Another site I use all the time for genealogy deletes the cookie when you leave the site. Can't get back on the site! Think my cookies are messed up. Downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer...nothing good happened from that. But strangest of all is that I tried to System Restore and get the repeated message "cannot restore to this point" after selecting 3 different dates in October. This has never happened before. My system does not need to be defraged at this time. I was going to do it anyway after I get this other stuff straightened out. And Norton seems to work, finds no viruses, but it says that Live Update is not installed correctly. Lots of little things wrong but mostly the cookies! Have a Dell 2100, 8.0 AOL, and XP. Can you help? Thanks Bonnie
