Was wondering if anyone out there who knows of this SPURGEON family that Lora has so graciously shared with us, (Thank you, Lora!) can tell me if there is an Amelia Ann SPURGEON, born about 1870? She married Jesse SULLIVAN on August 31, 1884 in Jackson Co.,Indiana. Children I have so far: 1. Sam (Samuel) b. abt. 1884 mar. Myrtle Maud MANKIN 2. James Blaine b. June 16, 1885 first wife Dora Ella MARTIN also mar. Roxie "ELKINS" MCCAMMENT and possibly a Eula PORTER. I can not prove this and have not seen a marriage record on these two as of yet. 3. Bertha Mae SULLIVAN b. September 15, 1897 was mar. 3 times. LAWRENCE was last not sure of first 2. Virgil D RICHARDS, Unknown HENRY, and 3rd was Henry LAWRENCE. Jesse and Amelia are my second great grands, I would love to know more about them, if anyone out there is willing to share?
