It is the other wives I'd like info on, because of proving stories that were told. Sarah ????? Sutton-BEST b. 1811 VA Patrick BEST---no info, just know there was a fight between him and a bear, somewhere USA with a statue to commemorate the incident. A cousin was able to identify the statue at one time, but never noted as to where, nor his sons remember where, but do remember the story! Thank you for your generous offer. I am looking for Mahlon ( could be Malon) Munson Leek. In 1860, 1870, and 1880 he was in LaPorte County Indiana. I cannot find anything on him after 1880. He had children by a lady named Henrietta. Can not verify a marriage. Any information at all would be helpful.
