In answer to Alice's question about what one might find in a marriage license application, I looked one up in Vigo County lately in the Clerk of Circuit Court Records and found both parent's names for the bride and groom and also that it was the first marriage for the bride and second for the groom. This was in addition to the ages, birth county, occupation, date, and person who married them. The most exciting and unknown bit of info was that the groom had been married before! Susie
