Co.IN just thought I'd post my BALDWIN line who lived there too, as some of them have the same names, but as far as we know they are not connected to each other. As far as I've been able to determine my John BALDWIN descends from the Henry BALDWIN line b. 1700 living in Anne Arudel Co.MD possibly from England . Descendants of John Baldwin 1 John Baldwin 1797 MD.---m. 28 Mar 1828 Spencer Co.KY---migrated with his family to Nelson Co.KY....living there 1800-1820's.....migrated to Owen Co.IN after 1828....found on the 1850 Putnam Co.IN census.....1860 & 1870 Mont. Co.IN census.....after that time not found....presumed to have died in Mont. Co.IN .. +Elizabeth Thomas 1807 VA.....last found on 1870 census in Mont. Co.IN....presumed to ahve died in Mont. Co.IN. ......... 2 George Baldwin 1830 Owen Co.IN. -d. 1863 Murfeesborogh,TN...buried Nashville National Cemetery.....he m. Eliza 8 Dec 1854 Putnam Co.IN....he m. Edna 6 Nov 1856 Boone Co.IN....on 1860 census there with 2 sons. ............. +Eliza Ellen Stobaugh 1834 - 1855 ....they had one daughter Mary Ann...she was raised by her grandparents-John & Elizabeth ......... *2nd Wife of George Baldwin: ............. +Edna Ann McGowen 1841 - 1912 Boone Co.IN.... ......... 2 John Baldwin 1832 Owen Co.IN - 1901 Boone Co.IN...lived there all his life....had no children that I have found. ............. +Artimesa Huffman 1829 - 1917 ......... 2 Robert Baldwin 1834 Owen Co.IN.- 1872 Mont.
