I am looking for a Robert Moffat / Moffett who married a Phyllis McCallum in Hammond Indiana. I believe they divorced around 1947. Robert was a deacon in a Baptist Church and should be around 73 years old today if alive. He may have gone to Fordsville, Ohio Cy., Ky. His mother's name is Mary ? fathers name is Jim McCallum. However after a divorce Mary married Orrie Moffat and raised him most of his life. So Robert took on his last name as Moffat. Does any of this fit into anyone's line? God Bless Pam

There are three of them, but two are born in Indiana and one of those two is 50 years old. The other is 27. Although the index does not show her birthplace, this Maude is born in England, as are both her parents. She came here in 1821. Age at first marriage is 23. She is with John Saunders who is also 29, first marriage at 23. He is born in Kentucky as are both his parents. He is a mechanic in a machine shop. They live at 514 West National. If this sounds like the right one, let me know and I can send you the image. Saunders, Maude Age:29 Year:1930 Birthplace: Roll: T626_617 Race: Page: 21B State: Indiana ED: 285 County: Marion Image: 0366 Township: Wayne Relationship: Wife I will try to find a newspaper announcement of her marriage or his death because the Indianapolis paper is online for those years. Hi, Thanks for the map. FYI, Here is one with county names inside the boxes.: http://www.accessgenealogy.com/indiana/incty.gif Many thanks to Lana who believes it says Clinton Co. which is right next to Tippecanoe, which is where they are in 1891, so I will try that and see if I can find Mary's birth record there. Looking at it, I do see how it could be Clinton Co, especially considering the person's handwriting that filled out the form! If anyone else has any other ideas, I am very open to any and all suggestions. I will also let the list know if I do find Mary born in Clinton County. Thanks to everyone who has helped with this. I very much appreciate even the smallest bits of help I have received. I received Mary's obit today hoping it would have where she was born, but it only has what I already knew. Her death certificate is less helpful, as it says she was born in the US. Oh well. Hopefully, Lana is correct with Clinton Co. and I will be able to find her now. Hello Listers, Hoping for help here :-) I have an unidentified photo which could possibly be Elizabeth SWIFT married William P SLONE/SLOAN, May 1864, in Boone County, Indiana. They had a son, Thomas J Slone, brn abt 1864-65, apparently in Boone County. I have not been able to find anything other information on Elizabeth, other than marriage - family story has it that she was sickly and died young. Seems if she had died during childbirth, someone would have remembered that. William P Slone/Sloane married Louise/a BURROUGHS 27 Oct 1870, so Elizabeth would have died (or divorced) before then. If anyone knows anything about Elizabeth, I'd appreciate hearing about it! :-) P. S. I was unable to come up with any information on son, Thomas J Slone, until I found his marriage to Clara Hunter, 1892, in Indianapolis. Where was he in the meantime? I did not find him with father in any census records. Virginia
