    3. Christine, I don't know if you have found them yet, but on the Ripley County site there is a place to look for Ripley County marriages under Violet Toph. I have found 3 or 4 marriages of my ancestors on there. I'm not sure what years are listed, but there are about 20 years covered, I think. Hope this helps. 1. [INDIANA] Re: Marriage License Application
    2. In answer to Alice's question about what one might find in a marriage license application, I looked one up in Vigo County lately in the Clerk of Circuit Court Records and found both parent's names for the bride and groom and also that it was the first marriage for the bride and second for the groom. This was in addition to the ages, birth county, occupation, date, and person who married them. The most exciting and unknown bit of info was that the groom had been married before! Susie

    2. Jodi, I found no Florey or Floras in Fountain Co. I didn't find any Leeks in LaPorte Co. either. If you are looking for females you might want to consider neighboring counties, since the application was made in the county where the female lived. Since there were a great number of Floras, you will need to give me a first name and an approximate date. -Cindy ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! 3. Washington County - Martinsburg - I have birth and death dates, I was looking for marriage records, hoping that George Mifflin Dallas' mother and father would be listed - his father apparently left he and his mother - he is listed in the 1850 census as being raised by grandparents and his mother is listed as one of the grandparents' daughters.... Thank you... 3. Could you? It would be Ulysses Grant Roberts and Emma Lockhart and George Mifflin Dallas Roberts and Berthena (or Parthena) Cooley(?). I'm not sure about either - I'm in NJ and they're buried in IN. I'm hoping my daughter can check for others in the cemetery once it dries up a bit :-).... Thank you so much for offering. Hope you can find them. I'm not trying to do too much, but these two are a bit mysterious - especially Dallas. I'd like to know just what is on the record for him - as well as the proper spelling of his wife's name...
