OK, Indiana if you need all surnames for your 1870 census I would have to ask for a SASE, and just send the printed papers to you, and if you can't get the census records I can get what you want, but this takes time and I would have to ask for the $1.00 for the census pages that I would charge anyone. I do have to look them up and copy the census page, that cost me money there, and the parking now is $7.00 until the congress is not in session. Then I can get it for $4.00 So I do spend some of my money to get these copies. Teddy Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees
Teddy, I would like you to see if this CD has the following fams: Seth YOUNG age abt 33 Rebecca abt 19 children Alfred STONE over 70 Lucinda abt 65-67 I have had them searched for before with no luck. Are there different CDs? Thank you, Carleen
Could you look up John Andrew Riley he was born in 1844 his parents were married in Feb 1844 in union port , Randolph Co In and his younger brother James whitcomb Riley was born in Greenfield Hancock co in October 1849. I am trying to find John's wife and to see if he had a son by the name of francis or Frank B riley who was born in 1863. Frank married my Great aunt and on family papers it says he was the nephew of James Whitcomb Riley . this is a long shot but I am hopeful. Thanks in advance. Hi, I have been trying to find BURNETT and SHOEMAKER during that time frame. Living in same vicinity. Possibly George Burnett, don't know. Is it indexed? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Jan
It is now in book form and it includes everybody, as well as an every name index. The book version doesn't leave anyone out, which is more than I can say for the cd's I have seen. Write me privately and I will give you the details. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Tdeford6@cs.com> To: <INDIANA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 12, 2001 7:19 PM Subject: Re: [INDIANA] 1870 census > If anyone needs me to look at the 1870 census this week, let me know, they > have the CD's for Indiana for 1870, so it's easy to look up, and take's > little time. > > Teddy > > Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees > > > ============================== > Search over 900 million names at Ancestry.com! > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/rwlist1.asp >
If anyone needs me to look at the 1870 census this week, let me know, they have the CD's for Indiana for 1870, so it's easy to look up, and take's little time. Teddy Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees
ok - this is a long shot as I can't find them! James Wilson JOHNSON his wife might be Amanda (unless she died between 1861-1870) would have at least one son - John Lafayette JOHNSON age about 8-9 Possibly living in RUSH county or MADISON county (not sure of that either) It could take time going thru all the Johnson's but if you run across it I would absolutely owe you one!
