It's only connection with genealogy is that my grandparents took us there as kids and it had been there "forever", as Grandma used to say. Probably in Washington County? Thanks! Kathy

    3. Hi Elaine, The Lewis Line that I have descends from George Goodman Lewis who with two brothers in their own ships came to America. It is said that one of the brothers and his ship may have been lost in a storm the night before landing as far as I know he was never heard from again. Do you want me to send you the complete line? Nelda From: eebarsosky@webtv.net (elaine barsosky) Reply-To: INDIANA-L@rootsweb.com To: INDIANA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [INDIANA] Lewis Date: Tue, 13 Mar 2001 14:05:56 -0500 (EST) Hello Nelda, I just saw the reference to Lewis in Indiana. I have a passle of them including my ggrandmother, Margaret (Maggid) Sarah Lewis Devonald born in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorganshire, Wales, 1865. I can't receive a lot of the attachments, but four of her brothers and one of her sisters came to this country also. Have much information on all the lines. 3. Teddy, I have sent 2 requests to you recently, and I believe this March 12th reply is for Daniel Pensinger. Right? I would like all the info you can find on him and his family and residents in his home, etc...(I believe Jay Co. ) On March 8th I sent a request to you for info on my maternal Grandmother, Crawford. Would you check to see if you still have that one? I am very anxious for someone to help me. I know of other sources, but I would like you to advise me as to your willingness to proceed. Let me know what other info you will need. Please reply, and I will send a SASE and any money. 2. But o this you just type in a name and it com's out on all names, and then I copy the ones with the surname of the people. It's easy, I can still look at the book index, but after I found Levi in KY 1870, and so many had looked, and I had looked at the book index, then for just a try (knew it wasn't there right) here it is Levi Brady, and the only one Teddy Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees
