Teddy...I posted that URL, which is what I have on my website. I went there yesterday and today without any trouble. Maybe you should try again. As others have pointed out, just don't click on the HOME button in the upper left corner. Hope it works for you, Virginia ><< http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/search/search.asp >> >That one did work > >Teddy > >Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees >Listowner for Fulkerson, Vertrees, Brunner genconnect pages, and Listowner >for Grayson Co. That site asks for a zip code and when you enter it, then comes the weird blue face Lynne Bear
Just don't click on the Home button on this site - funny purple face appears again! Janet
Does anyone know of a site that has a picture of the Milroy Monument? Thank you Cheryl Idaho

Perhaps new people on the list, will be reading this plea. Its been a month, so I'm posting again. Hope that's not against the rules. Need HUBERT KEITH death stats. He died very young - in his 20's. Occurred about 1925 or 1926 - think in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was husband to Elthy R. Taylor. I once thought he was from Marion, Indiana - but not certain. Thank you. Marine45
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here is a page dedicated to Irish culture, folklore and St Patricks day & includes links to such things as legends, music, food, history of St Patrick & St Patrick's day, and just all kinds of stuff that I think visitors will enjoy. http://khuish.tripod.com/irefolk.htm <A HREF="http://khuish.tripod.com/irefolk.htm">Firstmom's Ireland Culture, Folklore and St. ...</A> You can also get to the "Firstmom's Genealogy Resources -Ireland" and the Irish Ship Lists from that page. And here's a place to download a few screen savers if you'd like, no charge, and they dont collect email addresses. They do have their address on one frame of the screensaver, but that never bothered me. http://www.ireland-information.com/cgi-bin/indexa.pl?user=340256439 <A HREF="http://www.ireland-information.com/cgi-bin/indexa.pl?user=340256439">Fre e Irish Screensaver Download</A> You can click on: "Download the St Patrick's Life Screensaver" (I used that for a long time, it's nice) "Download the Images of Ireland Screensaver" "Download a Celtic Font for your PC" All of those, when clicked on, come up with a box that should say "Save As" and this will save the screensaver and font to your computer, and you're done. I think it also came with a help file telling you how to implement the screensaver on your computer. You can also view and copy a coat of arms to use on your computer. Clicking on "view coats of arms gallery" takes you to a page to select a surname. Feel free to pass the links on if you wish! Kathy Huish

Carleen: I don't see a site address for your Good Map Site. Please advise. Thanks.
Ok gang, one of my other lists just had a link for the "zip code " page of the BLM site. I guess its just the Home page that is hacked. Here it is , see if you get it. You might check websites for CNN and Fox. The story might be there.

Thanks Teddy, I wonder how many of these have "old" records!!
I just heard on CNN, I think, yesterday abt a new program (it may be a free download somewhere) that is the newest thing for hackers and it is a super one. It said that any computer user could use it, its that easy. They can get into your e-mail and then into all your records on your computer. They can change things, etc. Said they probably would not fool with regular users but go for the bigger fish. Companies and so forth, I guess. It sounded awful. It also said the sender is almost impossible to trace! I watch FOX and CNN, so maybe they will repeat it or have it on their news site. Carleen

http://www.funeral-dir.com/ <A HREF="http://www.funeral-dir.com/">The RED BOOK</A> On my GG Grandfathers death certificate it told that he was in the Rogers funeral home, so I looked on this site, and they are still there in Grayson Co., KY. I plan to write to them and ask for something on his mother, since she is not listed in the death records, or doesn't have a gravesite in the family cemetery. This is for all states, Hope it will help someone, if you know the funeral home that the family used this could be a good help.
