DEAR LIST MEMBERS, ALL THOUGH THIS MESSAGE DOES NOT HAVE TO DO WITH GENEALOGY. I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THIS INFORMATION. OVER THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS I HAVE BEEN HARRASED BY SOMEONE WHO REPLIES TO MY INQUIRE TO THE LIST. HE IS TRYING TO GIVE ME A VIRUS. THE FIRST TIME A FELL FOR IT, BEING NEW TO GENEALOGY, I DID NOT KNOW THAT ATTACHMENTS WHERE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE RECIEVED. I CAN NOT REPLY TO HIM IN FEAR, HE MAY HACK MY COMPUTER. SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS, AND IM SURE YOU ARE. WHY!!!! I AM DOING SOMETHING A ENJOY, GENEALOGY. WE ARE NOT THE RICHEST PEOPLE AND MY HUSBAND WORKED VERY HARD TO BUY US A COMPUTER. I DONT NEED IT DESTROYED BY A VIRUS.
I sent a reply to your board last week and rec'd a note containing an attachment purporting to be from the person I had replied to. I sent him a query and it was returned 'unknown'. It wasn't from the person who supposedly sent it. It's attached to the Indiana board and is sent, apparently, to anyone who sends in a query or reply. I'll probably get it again with this note. The list master has to correct that. Hi Listers, Would SKS please take pity on an Australian researcher and do a look up at Willard Library in the Vanderburg Co. Probate Court for any or all of the following please. HUTCHESON, Dealer in Pittsburg Coal, born 1824 Scotland living in Evansville, IN. Date of death is definitely after 1861 but is probably after 1881. In 1881 the family were residing at 308 Fulton, Evansville. Secondly I am looking for any details of the estate of his widow MARY E. HUTCHESON nee DAVIS, born 1828, Wales. She died in Fort Worth, TX.in Nov. 1898 but the body was shipped back to the family plot in Evansville. The obit says a substantial estate, most of it in Evansville. I can get them at the State Library if that is what you want. Teddy Searching Brady, Bruner, Ford, Fulkerson, Vertrees Listowner for Fulkerson, Vertrees, Brunner genconnect pages, and Listowner for Grayson Co. KY
The books are better than the website, not everything is on that site, but you can see my message that is before this one, and I give you the site where you can get the CD that has all of this information. I can't find anyone in my line either, but they are in the books. These records are in the WPA books that the State Library has, and they are most likely in the Fort Wayne, Allen Co. genealogy site, I don't know where else, but sure they are in the larger places that you can research. There is a CD from Heritage house that has the CD HeritageQuest.com - Indiana Vital Records Collection The information is on this site, and the years are also mentioned. Hello Could or would someone out here do a lok up for me....I have been searching and searching for a death record for a Daniel Austin. I know he was borned 12 Feb. 1790 Talbot Co Maryland and I found he was married in 1815 Ohio to a Mary Richardson, I know that he was living in Madison Co., Indiana in 1833 and this is where I lost him at. I found that his one son Napoleon B Austin was borned in 1833 Madison Co. Indiana and this is the time frame that I lost him. Any help would be a blessing. Bob, Unfortunately, you probably won't find a death record for Daniel. Death records were kept , but not required to be kept until the early 1900's. You might try the this site to see if there is a volunteer who might look up a cemetery record in that county, or perhaps a will record if that is where he died, http://raogk.rootsweb.com/. Or you might try the USGenweb site for Madison Co., IN and see if they have any records online. Dave, I looked up Raymond Myers in the FTM library and found a lot of references, marriages and births, but I'd need more info. Who did he marry? When was he born? Parents names if known.
