I have a document in Indiana and some Michigan documents that dont know the name of the parents either or give the wrong name. You cant always depend on that. All of my research on this person so far has failed. Perhaps one of you more seasoned IN researchers may have something to help me along here. It's my gm Maud COCHRAN. According to her death certificate she died 1913 in St Louis MO but was living in Centreville IL with her husband Edgar DAVIS and son Lee. They were married 1 year according to the 1900 St Louis census where they were living at the time. Also according to the death certificate she was born 20 May 1880 in Terre Haute IN. Her father's name was John but mother was unknown. I have burial records for her but that turned up no further clues. I can find no record of their marriage nor of her parents in the Centreville or St Louis area. Centreville is just across the river from St Louis. Also I have no reason to believe my gf ever traveled to IN and I have an obit for Maud but it does not mention her parents. I've searched the 1880 IN census but can't find her in the Terre Haute area. Since she died so young - 33 - I'm guessing that her parents were most likely alive at the time. But I'm also guessing they weren't in the St Louis area since her husband didn't even know her mother's name to put on the death certificate and their names don't show up in her obit. When did she come to the St Louis area? How did they meet? Who are her parents? Does this ring a bell with anyone or does someone have a reseach source that might help me? George

Greetings, Found more of my Milligan Surname. James A. Milligan b Aug 16 1849, Unknown, died Jan 11, 1931, (Unknown) married Maggie Demi. Maggie born July 7, 1853, died July 22, 1918. They had my grandfather Earl Frederick Milligan, and Hughee/Huighey P. Milligan, Minnie Milligan, Effie Milligan, Howard J. Milligan, Sophia Milligan, Dora H. Milligan, Flarence E. Milligan, Elexander Milligan. Earl Frederick Milligan married my grandmother Ethyl Grace Summers. Earl Frederick Milligan was born August 3, 1896, in Clearfield County, PA. Ethyl Grace Summers was born 1896, Portland Mills, Elks County, PA. Her Father was William Summers, and her mother was Maggie Seitzell. They moved to Indiana, when I don't know, and had my mother Ruth Milligan. Mom was born in 1921 in PA, so sometime after that they came to Indiana. Need some help with the Demi surname. What do you think Demi was shortened from? Anyone connect to this Milligan surname? Cheers, to a super group ! Lora
