    2. I am still searching for info on Martha Ann CLARK/MEEKS/RALLS. I have learned that her parents, according to the death certificate, are John and Nancy CLARK. That isn't overly helpful in that those are such common names. I found 3 listings for a Martha MEEKS on a NAIL search, through NARA. One was in 1884, during the time my Martha was a MEEKS. She was being charged for not appearing at the trial of Robinson Kemp. The other two were enrollments to the Chickasaw Nation, after 1898, after she married RALLS. She was listed as doubtful. One of those led me to Mead, which is in Bryan County. Thanks to the kind folks at the Chickasaw Nation Headquarters, I now have documentation that Martha's daughter, Hettie or Hattie MEEKS married Sam CALHOUN and had a daughter, Emily. Emily was applying for citizenship in the Chickasaw Nation and approved. It listed Moses and Martha MEEKS as parents. It also listed Hattie's last name as LAMAR. Emily's Chickasaw blood came from Sam CALHOUN, not her mother and was listed as 1/2. So, even though I have learned some facts, I still am no further along on Martha's past. Does anyone have a suggestion of where to turn next? I am still new at this research and would appreciate any guidance. Georgia
