I'm curious to know what attracted one set of great-grandparents (John/Averilla HUBBARD) from Wayne Co. KY to Hickory OK approx. 1900 - 1906. Another set of great-grandparents (Matthew/Catherine LONG) traveled from Hempstead Co. Arkansas to Hickory approx. 1902-1908. Both great-grandmothers are buried in the Hickory Cemetery.
