Morning. I am curious. Is there a good map on the net that might show where each American Indian Tribe was located? Was the Cherokee located in Georgia? Where was the Choctaw located? And the other tribes? I'm asking for early dates. I am literate but, when it comes to Native Americans I am DAH. What separated these people, was it culture? location? or ? A record with my ancestor's name "Welcome Ussery" was sent to me by a very nice lady named Jo Orvic and Old Welcome was listed as Cherokee. I would like to learn more on the heritage and culture of Native Americans.
