    3. I have Volumes 2 through 5 of A STANDARD HISTORY OF OKLAHOMA, by Joseph B. Thoburn, published by The American Historical Society, 1916. The problem is that the set has no index or table of contents. Is anyone familiar with this set? Is volume 1 the index? Are there more volumes than 5? Three of these volumes contain over a thousand pages of bio's, but they are not even in alphabetical order. The bio's are facinating reading. I sure would like to find volume 1 or an index, then the data could be shared. I also have a copy of the PROCEEDINGS OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION OF THE PROPOSED STATE OF OKLAHOMA Held At Guthrie, Oklahoma November 20, 1906 to November 16, 1907. This belonged to my greatgrandfather Royall J. Allen, who was from Duncan. About 500 pages of mostly dry reading, but at least it contains a name index. I'm sure some of the bio's would be of interest if an index could be found, but the convention proceedings would be of limited interest. art brown Nisswa, MN -----Original Message----- From: Jerri Chasteen <jerri@cherokee.net> > > >Anyone else have books about Oklahoma/Indian Territory or Oklahoma copyrighted >before 1923? >
