I have a copy of an early City Directory for South McAlester. The exact date is not known, but it is believed to be about 1902. South McAlester (now known as McAlester, Oklahoma) was in the Choctaw Nation in what is now Pittsburg County, Oklahoma and was the site of one of the earliest Federal Courts in Indian Territory.
