The Southwest Oklahoma Genealogical Society offers tract book searches of the Oklahoma land rush records. I ordered one on my great grandfather, Frances Marion Bruce, and yesterday they replied that they had searched all 72 volumes of the Tract Books and found no trace of him. My grandmother related that she and her father were poised on the Texas- Oklahoma border waiting for the gun, that they participated and obtained 160 acres. Is there somewhere else to look. Are there other tract books. Can anyone shed some light for me or steer me to other sources? Thanks for your help. Sharon
